New Blogger on the Block: Featuring Out of Tea Bags

New Blogger on the Block: The series thats all about showcasing the amazing new talent on offer in the blogosphere! This week is Em from Out of Tea Bags

Why is it that the weekends always pass by so quickly! It’s been a busy one in our house. Friday evening I went to the theatre with some work colleagues. As always Prosecco joined the party and before long I was completely shit faced and riding a waltzer. *Evidence on the Facebook page! Saturday was a day of half arsed parenting whilst nursing the mother of all hangovers. Which meant Sunday was reserved for cleansing the mom guilt, otherwise known as spending an inexcusable amount of time and money in Smiths!

With the weekend over it’s back to work we go. As always this means it’s time to expose another amazing new blogger.

New Blogger on the Block is all about showcasing the fantastic new talent on offer in the blogosphere. Each week I’ll be handing over the floor to my guest blogger as we get to know them a little better. This week is the gorgeous Em from Out of Tea Bags is that not the best name for a blog ever?

Please take a minute to introduce yourself and your blog.

My name is Em and my blog is Out of Tea Bags. I grew up in a small English town just south of London with my parents and older brother. I was a very inquisitive child, with a love for dogs and a strong belief that I was a Disney character. None of that has changed, now I just have a greater appreciation for a good cup of tea (one sugar and a lil bit of milk). I am now a graphic design student who has decided to have a go at the blogging life. My blog is a lifestyle blog filled with all of my favourite things, Disney, design and the destinations I am lucky enough to travel. There are also some posts about me and my daily life.

What made you decide to start blogging?

If I’m honest I get bored very easily and needed something to keep me occupied! Plus it seemed like a very welcoming and friendly community that I wanted to be a part of (I am very glad I did).

What’s your biggest blogging achievement so far?

Someone went out of their way to personally message me and say that they really loved my blog and that just made me feel like my blog actually meant something to someone else, other than me, which felt amazing!

Is there a particular blogger who you look up to?

I’ve always absolutely loved Josie from Fashion Mumblr, her style is just so beautiful and I think she is so down to earth and lovely.

Which one of your posts are you most proud of?

My dream board post because it was something quite personal to me with all my dreams on but it was also something I really wanted to share and to help motivate other people.

Where do you see your blog in 5 years?

Hopefully with some tea bags? ummm ideally it will be self hosted and I will have some good connections with brands! I would love to work with a stationary brand.

Random Question – What came first, chicken or the egg?

I am going to go with the egg because I don’t like the thought of one random chicken running around the world!

Looking at Em’s blog you would not think she’s new to the blogging scene. She has all the style and finesse of a seasoned blogger. One thing which sets Em apart from the crowd are her adorable feature images. I love how she’s tailors each post to a famous quote. Add some pretty florals, which anybody in their right mind would appreciate and in my eyes you’ve got the makings of a fantastic blog!

I insist you pay Em’s blog a visit and see what she’s all about. Recent posts include Tenerife holiday outfits, Disney first time bucket list and  9-5 things I’ve learnt doing the 9-5.
