Bank holidays mean one thing and one thing only, spending your Friday evening over indulging on adult beverages and wasting your Saturday feeling incredibly sorry for yourself. I’m not going to lie, that’s exactly how my weekend played out. Thankfully yesterday the weather was on my side so Sunday was spent rectifying my failings. Nothing helps alleviate your momguilt like a trip to the park.
The last bank holiday of the summer may well be over but as always it’s time for the New Blogger on the Block.
This series is all about showcasing the fantastic new talent on offer in the blogosphere. Each week I’ll be handing over the floor to my guest blogger as we get to know them a little better. This it’s the turn of Markus from The Silly Daddy Chronicles.
Please take a minute to introduce yourself and your blog.
Hi, I’m Markus. A 42 year old SAHD of 5 year old twin boys. I’m from the tri-county area of Walpole. Which is in Norfolk, but has Cambridgeshire & Lincolnshire virtually on its doorstep! I blog at The Silly Daddy Chronicles. It has a varied roster of posts.
What made you decide to start blogging?
Just wanted to see if people would actually be interested to see what I had to say?
What’s your biggest blogging achievement so far?
Apart from being invited to my first PR event last week there isn’t much to celebrate just yet.
Is there a particular blogger who you look up to?
Which one of your posts are you most proud of?
Where do you see your blog in 5 years?
Moderate to big readership with moderate to big potential.
Random Question – What came first, chicken or the egg?
The rooster! 👍
One thing I love about Markus’s blog is that he isn’t afraid to merge fiction with fact. His blog is a wonderful blend between honest tributes to parental life and creative fictional content. I’ve always liked the idea of writing fiction but I’m not sure it’s something which I’ll ever be brave enough to share. If your for a parenting blog with a twist The Silly Daddy Chronicles is definitely one to watch.
Fancy appearing in the next instalment? I’d love to hear from you!
