Five Easter Crafts for Uncrafty Parents

You probably think that being creative means you love crafts, think again. My OCD goes into overdrive as soon as I see the glitter. The thought of poster paint under tiny fingernails makes my stomach churn and watching the toddlers blatant disregard to colouring within the lines is enough to tip me over the edge. That said if there was ever a time to push aside my differences and jump onboard the craft wagon, Easter would be a perfect time.

With the school holidays fast approaching what better way to keep the kids entertained than with a selection of crafts, perfect for even the un-craftiest of parents!

Easy Peasy Daffodils

One thing with I love about spring – aside from the sunshine – are Daffodils. At this time of year, my Grandma would always have the biggest bunch of Daffy’s sitting in her hallway, ready to greet you. Everything about them fills me with nostalgia. Why not kill two birds with one stone, keep the kids quiet while filling your home with everlasting spring with these delightful little Daffodils!

Shower Puff Chick

I don’t know about you but I have roughly a thousand shower puffs lurking around my home #hoarderalter! Anyway, why not put your spare puffs to use this Easter by creating a super easy shower sponge chick. I think these would make eggcellent cards for family and friends!

No-sew Sock Bunnies

Whilst these are super adorable, they also happen to be a fantastic way to use up odd socks! I’m tired of sieving through the laundry looking for long lost pals! Forget the socks of yesteryear and turn their forgotten friends into brilliant no-sew sock bunnies!
