The Big Brother Questionnaire

Big Brother Questionnaire: Kerrie's done her fair share of writing over the past couple of months. We thought it's only fair to hand over the blogging rights to her eldest son and recent big brother promotee Thomas. What better way to make his debut than putting him through his paces with the Big Brother Questionnaire!

If you’re a regular visiter to my blog you’ve probably stumbled across at least one edition of the Pregnancy Diaries. Written by my close friend Kerrie, the series gave us an insight into life with a bump. After the arrival of baby Jack I was keen to have a blogging catch up. Kerrie’s done her fair share of writing over the past couple of months. We thought it’s only fair to hand over the blogging rights to her eldest son and recent big brother promotee Thomas. What better way to make his debut than putting him through his paces with the Big Brother Questionnaire !

First of all tell us a little bit about yourself! How old are you? What are your hobbies/interests? What’s your favourite food? etc…
My names Thomas and I’m 10. I like to go on my bike though when I feel like it I’ll go on the PlayStation for a bit. I also like swimming and rock climbing. My favourite food is pizza. I also like watching Only Fools And Horses and Netflix.

What was your reaction when you found out you were going to be a big brother?
It’s a bit embarrassing but I burst into tears (of happiness).

Be honest…we won’t tell! Did you want a baby brother or a baby sister?
I wanted a baby brother because it’s easier to play with him instead of having Barbie dolls

When did you first meet baby Jack? Where were you and what did you think of him?
It was about 2 or 3 hours after he was born and we were in the hospital. He cried a lot but I still loved him all the same.

It’s been three weeks since Jack was born, what’s the best thing about being a big brother? The best thing about being a big brother is that I don’t feel that lonely anymore. I have someone to play with. I enjoy looking after him and being able to hold him all the time.

Babies can be very demanding, have you found it difficult having a new baby in the house?
No, not really. Sometimes it’s a pain when he cries but that’s only because we don’t know what he wants and it’s horrible to see him upset. Apart from that I love it!

What’s your favourite thing to do with baby Jack?
Just to cuddle him and try to make him smile. Oh and take photos of him because he’s really cute

As Jack gets older what are you most looking forward to? What will you teach him? Will you play XBox with him?
Yes! Especially Lego World because that’s my favourite. I am looking forward to being able to play with him and taking him out places to have fun.

It sounds like you’re doing an excellent job Thomas! Clearly being a big brother really suits you. Thanks for popping by and taking part in the Big Brother Questionnaire . It was nice of you to give us the lowdown on life with baby Jack. Make sure you come and see us again soon!
